Prayer:

Thanksgiving:
Today, I come into Your presence with thanksgiving. Lord, I thank You this day that You have met me here. You are the God of the universe, and you bend your heart and your ear to me. I bless You, Father. I thank You for rest, I thank You for my family, I thank You for Your love and Your kindness. You are multi-faceted and You amaze me, Lord.

Confession:
God, in Your Presence I open my heart. I thank You that I am safe to be vulnerable with You. I confess my need for You, my dependence on You, and my inability to reach Your mark of holy perfection without You. (Take time to allow the Lord to examine your heart. This has become one of the sweetest times of my day, and I wouldn’t want to go a day without it! Lord, I confess my poor eating choices over the past few days have gone beyond a healthy balance. This is a weakness for me, and I ask You to help me to move forward from it without spiraling downward again. Renew my passion for becoming healthy, and please don’t allow me to overindulge any more this season. I lean on You. Help me to honor You, and not become legalistic either.)

Supplication:
I lift my heart and my circumstances to You for Your touch, Lord. I bless You and thank You that You desire to hold my heart and life in Your hands. You are my guide, and I seek You, Lord. (Take time to list needs and concerns for yourself. Mine today: I want to have a good, connecting, and fun vacation with my family. I haven’t been feeling well, and I’m tempted to stay home and only rest. I pray for Your wisdom, and that I would feel well enough to bless my children with enjoyable outings that will create memories without putting undue stress on us. I also ask for healing for my body, and that You will lead us to the right doctor for our family in this area.)

Intercession:
I lift my children to You today. I embrace the office of intercessor for my home and family.  I ask that You lead me as I pray to things unseen by my eyes. I lay down worry, anxiety and control. Touch my children today. Let salvation rule in our home. I pray for the fruit of the Holy Spirit in my children: Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, meekness, temperance, faith. (Journal progress, victory, needs, and concerns for each child. Chloe today: She is blossoming into the amazing, funny and imaginative young lady You made her. I praise You for the creation of this incredible young lady. It is a joy to be her mother. I thank You for the fun friendship we have. I also lift my heart to You about her sassy and rude behaviors. They hurt every day. I sometimes hate trying to parent her, and I don’t want to fall into the trap of sinking to the level of a child.  I need You to infuse me with Your grace and wisdom, because she is Your daughter first. Help me to respond the way You would respond to her when she backtalks and ignores us. It just isn’t easy, Lord, and You know what we are walking out. I continually place it in Your hands. Help me to daily and hourly lean on You for strength. Also, her sleep has been interrupted again for at least a week and I’m struggling with my own sleep and health as a result. Please, Lord, do not let this be our lifelong problem. Show us the remedy for this. For Christian today: I thank You that we are seeing the needle slowly move in his life in the areas of speech and bathrooming. Help us to view this as the marathon it is. I thank You that You have pointed my husband and I to resources and supports that have begun to draw us together. I pray that we would continue to walk in lockstep in parenting both children, but in Christian’s case it takes a deeper level of unity because of the many factors. Increase it daily. Deepen our relationships with him so that he knows he has a safe place to be who he is without judgment or rejection. I also pray that we will find a sports outlet for him where we can be supported while he can develop his confidence and use his great love for running in a constructive way.)

Thanksgiving and Consecration:
I bless You and honor You this day, my God. You are worthy of praise, and I love You!

Blessing and Benediction:

2 Cor. 13:14 - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
