Good morning! I have a simple prayer to share with you today.

Prayer:

Thanksgiving:
God, I lift You up today and thank You for Your kindness, mercy and love. This day belongs to You. You have made it, and I rejoice in it. I worship and praise You, God.

Confession:
I come before You with my heart and hands wide open, choosing not to hold on to anything that might hold me back from You. You are King of my heart. (Spend time letting the Lord search your heart and confess sin, struggles, or challenges to Him. Mine today: I am feeling worried about the schedule today. My son came home sick yesterday and I felt frustrated at the inconvenience, but I don’t want to have that response to the change in my schedule. Remove my reactivity to my circumstances and help me to give my challenges to You.) Thank You for Your mercy and forgiveness.

Supplication:
(Spend time lifting needs. Mine: Father, I need You to order my steps today. I’m not feeling very well, and I need Your energy. Today is a special day for me, as I will be meeting the Christian mom of an autistic young man. She has written a book about working with your child’s special interest. I can’t wait to meet her! It will be pretty stressful having to rush there and rush out while my husband is at home with my sick son, but You are in the center. I pray that this will be a good meeting. Help us to bond and connect. Help me not to be anxious, but to center in on You. Remove the knot of anxiety I have in my gut over the concerns of the day. I release it. Help me not to take it back again. I bless You, Lord. You are my rock, my fortress, my deliverer.)

Intercession:
I lift my children to You today and thank You that You have given me this joy and delight to serve them as their mother and as Your ambassador in their lives. (Journal prayers for you children. Note victories, progress, and needs. Chloe today: I learned that she is doing amazing at school! Her teacher did mention her behaviors, but that she is willing to be redirected. God, You are good to help us to break through with Chloe! I thank You that she is fun, friendly, funny, imaginative, bright and beautiful from the inside out. I just celebrate her today. Thank You for the gift of my daughter. I pray that she would not become ill. I pray that she does wonderfully at her friend’s birthday party today while I am at my meeting. Help her to be pleasant and get along, and listen to her friend’s mommy. For Christian today: Lord, he is sick. I am worried about him being sick again. I pray it would pass quickly! Help him to have a good time with his daddy. Help him to be able to use his words. Help him to use the bathroom well for his dad. I thank you that tomorrow is his sixth birthday. I lift up my hands in praise for the anniversary of Your blessing of motherhood through gifting me this amazing son! I bless and honor You, Lord, for this precious gift. Let his birthday be a blessing to him. Help him to have wonderful memories of it for life. Let him be well and joyful on his special day.)

Thanksgiving and Consecration:

Thank You for this time in Your Presence, Father. You are the One True God. I give my heart and life to You. In Jesus’ Name I pray, amen.
