Prayer:
Thanksgiving:
Thank You, God for this beautiful day. I thank You for the changing of the seasons. This week of Thanksgiving in America is a gift to us, Lord. We flow with gratitude for You, for Your beautiful creation, Your love and mercy, and Your hand in our lives. Thank You for the privilege of access to Your throne, Lord. Your wisdom far supersedes ours and we bow before You in gratitude that we do not have to know everything, understand everything, or control everything. We thank You that You control and uphold everything by the Word of Your power. You are amazing, God.

Confession:
I daily open my heart to You for examination. I confess my heart and wrong attitudes. (Mine today: I confess that I am still struggling with bitterness and resentment toward my husband when things do not go my way. I do not want this in our home or in our relationship. Forgive me, Lord, and continue to correct me before I sin in my actions. Remove the bitterness and replace it with love, mercy, grace, and kindness. Help me to seek to understand first. Forgive me for the selfish motive of being understood before I seek to understand him. Bless my husband. Shield him from my sin, Lord, and help him to be secure in You as You work this out in me.)

Supplication:
I come to You today with my needs. (Journal needs, ongoing challenges, victories and progress. Mine today: Thank You that You are working in my heart and actions and attitudes, and that I am doing better. We are being visited by Christian’s state caseworker for his annual review. I pray that we will receive favor with her, and that You will help us not to be overwhelmed with all the many suggestions we will receive. Help my husband and I to both fully comprehend what is needed to care for our sweet and wonderful boy. I pray that if there is more help available at home, we will have great favor and receive that help.)

Intercession:
I lift my children to You today, Lord. (Journal victories and progress, needs and concerns. Chloe today: She is so fun, funny, smart, and imaginative. She is also going through a sassy stage. Help us to address it in Your way without entering into her drama or responding in kind. Show us Your creative steps. Lead us to Godly wisdom on this subject and help us to filter out the noise of the many “ways” of handling parenting challenges. For Christian: Thank You for the progress in toileting. Please increase the progress and cause him to initiate for pee and poop. We are feeling the tug to retrain into underpants soon. Please give us the timing You would have for him and the patience to do it in Your timing.)

Thanksgiving and Consecration:
Blessing, honor and glory be Thine now and forever, Lord! I worship You and seal this time in the name of Jesus. Amen!

Blessing and Benediction:
Rom. 8:38-39

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.  For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen!
