Friday, December 1, 2017 Prayer Only

Hello again :) I want to ask again for prayers. I wasn't able to concentrate to study for today's devotional due to ongoing migraines, for four days now. I am grateful to share and definitely do not want to complain, but hope that you might join with us in praying for relief from these ongoing stressors in our home. Thank you so much.

Scripture:
Philippians 4:6-8
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Prayer:

Thanksgiving:
Father, I thank You for Your great and awesome love. You are worthy. You are glorious and magnificent. I bow my heart and my life before You in honor and gratitude.

Confession:
I confess my heart before You each day as an act of trust and surrender. (Take time to open your heart to the Lord, share areas of struggle. Mine today: I am letting anxiety over my health have place and struggling to press in to You in prayer. Help me to release this anxiety and lay it down at Your feet. I thank You for Your Word that says that I can be anxious for nothing but with prayer and thanksgiving make my requests known.)

Supplication:
I lift my circumstances and challenges to You and thank You that You care about every thing that concerns me. (Journal needs and concerns. Mine today: I am having a very, very hard month. This month, my hormones are very imbalanced and I have had now four days of complex migraines with impaired vision, confusion, splitting pain, nausea and fatigue. I pray that You will help us to make decisions that are going to help our quality of life while not taking extreme measures. Please restore my body to its healthy, rightful state. You are capable of miracles and I ask You for a complete reversal of the internal problems that are causing these symptoms. I also ask that You will help me to be more diligent in my nutrition and other therapies that are meant to address this. Thank You again that You care about my health, Lord.)

Intercession:
I lift my children to You today. It is an honor and a privilege to partner with You in praying for these precious gifts. Thank You for that honor. I pray that You will minister to them through me each day. (Journal progress, victories, needs, and concerns. Chloe: Thank You that You are helping her to sleep all night! We will place our seventh all-night-sleep sticker on her reward chart today. Thank you that reward charts seem to be motivating her so far. Help us to be consistent, because that kind of structure really isn’t my bend. Help me again to diligently create the environment conducive to success for our kids. Christian today: I continue to ask You to intervene in toileting. I ask that Christian will just decide to only use the toilet. Again, I pray that Christian will use only the toilet. Remove the stress and anxiety and move on his will, Lord. In Jesus’ Name I pray.)

Thanksgiving and Consecration:
Thank You again, Lord, that You hear me and You care. I bless You and honor You for this time together. Seal it for Your Kingdom and Your purposes. Let our home be a place of Kingdom love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, meekness, self control, and faith. In Jesus’ Name I pray, amen!

Blessing and Benediction:
Col. 3:16-17 - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

God bless you today as you go forth! Happy parenting!
